Privacy note

Short version: the ledger stores only what it needs to show you your own ledger, keeps it in the EU, shows it to nobody else, uses no tracking, and deletes all of it the moment you ask.

Who runs this

Beester’s Business Ledger is a non-commercial hobby site, run by Beester for guildmates in World of Warcraft: Forever. Questions or requests: message Beester on Discord.

What is stored

Nothing else: no real names, no payment details, no location, no browsing history.

Why

Only to show you your own ledger: your profit, stock and what your characters can craft. Your data is not sold, shared, analysed or used for anything else. By logging in, you ask for this service; you can stop at any time by deleting your data.

Where it is kept

In a database at Supabase, in their Frankfurt (EU) data centre. The website itself is served by Cloudflare. Auction house prices come from auctionhouse.fyi; no personal data is sent there.

Who can see it

Only you. The database only gives each logged-in person their own rows. As the site owner, Beester has technical access to the database and will only look at it to fix a problem, never out of curiosity.

Cookies and tracking

The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, ads or trackers. Fonts and scripts are served from the site itself, not from third parties. Your browser keeps your login in its own local storage, which is needed to keep you logged in and is removed when you log out.

How long

Until you delete it. Settings → Account → Delete my data permanently removes your characters, trades, tracked items, recipes, settings and login straight away. If the database provider keeps short-term backups, those expire on their own.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time; most of it you can do yourself in the ledger. If you think something is wrong with how your data is handled, you can contact Beester, or complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Other services

Discord (login), Supabase (database) and Cloudflare (hosting) keep their own standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, to run and protect their services. That is covered by their own privacy policies.
